It's remarkable how much a stubborn technical problem can depress me. I've been trying to get dual monitors on ATI working and a command-line Oracle client that doesn't suck installed, and every extra package and reboot chips at my soul. It's worse since I can only troubleshoot them at work, but man, I think I'd jump off a bridge if I were unintelligent, hedonic treadmill or no.
